Trip Summary

Six-day, six-night safari for two in KwaZulu-Natal Province, South Africa, within Zulu Nyala Private Game Reserve.  Accommodations at the four-star Zulu Nyala Private Game Lodge, Heritage Safari Lodge, or Nyati/Ndlovu Lodge. 

Includes accommodations (select from "lodging options" below), delicious meals with an African flavor, and two photo safaris per day guided by knowledgeable professional rangers. 

Does not include airfares, transfers, and incidentals.  Must be used within two years, subject to availability.

Lodging Options

• Zulu Nyala Private Game Lodge Situated in the heart of one of South Africa’s most diverse conservation regions, this lodge is nestled between the great Hluhluwe, Mkuze and St. Lucia Reserves. It is home to a diverse assortment of animals, including elephant, rhino, buffalo and leopard. This is a birder’s paradise and for those that love plants, the trees are especially rewarding. This beautiful site was also the location for the filming of “I Dreamed of Africa.”
  

• Zulu Nyala Heritage Safari Lodge Situated in the same region as Zulu Nyala Private Game Lodge. This gracious old lodge was restored to its former colonial grandeur and now boast fully air-conditioned rooms in a beautiful setting..
  

• Hemingway Tented Camp This camp is situated adjacent to the Heritage Safari Lodge. The tents surround a large swimming pool and are beautifully appointed with bathrooms en-suite.
  

• Nyati Lodge This 5 bedroom lodge is ideal for those who wish to be away from the madding crowds, or for a group of friends that wish to enjoy the exclusivity of their own air-conditioned lodge with swimming pool and chef.
